Mission of Human Resources Department

The Office of Talent and Human Resources’ mission is to empower and support our district’s staff by fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and care. As trusted partners to all schools, programs, and departments, we provide seamless access to resources, professional development, and responsive service. Through innovative strategies, we aim to increase retention, enhance employee engagement, and ensure every staff member has the support needed to thrive. United in Excellence, we are committed to building a valued community that drives success for all students.

In the New London Public Schools, our students are our first priority. As we collaborate with other departments to create an environment of success throughout the district, the OTM plays a critical role in supporting the growth of the students by:

As NLPS continues to transform into the only all-magnet district in the state, the OTM continues to seek out dynamic individuals to join our staff.
