A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIP AL:

At New London High School, we pride ourselves on keeping parents informed of student progress. March begins with CAPT testing from March 1st through 5th. On Wednesday, March 31st we will have our Parent Teacher Conferences in the cafeteria from 3 to 7 p.m. No appointment is needed. Stop by at anytime during this time and meet your child's second semester teachers. Progress reports will be given to parents at this time. If you are not able to attend, but still are concerned about your child’s progress, please contact your child’s guidance counselor who will be able to assist you.

We are also proud to announce extra help for students and tutoring focused on the following:

SAT Preparation, CAPT Preparation, Math Homework, and Senior Projects and the college application process.

All of these wonderful opportunities will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30 – 3:30PM. The Library will also be open for extended hours during this time.

In addition, a light snack will be served before the tutoring session.

Coast Guard Instructors and Cadets as well as Connecticut College students have offered to volunteer as tutors in addition to our certified teachers that will be running the program.

Please take full advantage of our after school opportunities at NLHS.
