Bennie Dover Jackson Middle School (BDJMS) is your middle school. Here, teachers are involved with students, working closely with other teachers to produce an exciting curriculum in partnership with parents. This website promotes parent involvement and invites you to become involved child's educational experience.

Building Planning Team (BPT)
Become involved! Attend the next Building Planning Team (BPT) meeting which meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the BDJMS Library. Topics discussed include: Course Curriculum guidelines, Connecticut Mastery Test, Family Involvement Night etc. Child care is provided. The next meeting is:

Parent / Teacher Organization (PTO)
Become involved! Attend the next Parent/Teacher Organization meeting which meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the BDJMS Library. Topic discussed include: Outdoor Sign, fundraising, family involvement night; school socials, computer training for parents to borrow a laptop computer for a week. Child care is provided. The BDJMS PTO has Laptop computers to loan out to students’ and their families, for a period of a week. All parents/guardians must be trained before the computer can be loaned. If interested please contact Ms. Wilson or Ms. Dallas and we can get you signed up for training.

BDJMS are participating in the Shop Rite for Education program. This program is designed to help us earn much needed educational equipment for our school.
The equipment will be used by our students to further enhance their education.
We need your help.
Here’s Just How Easy It is!
1. Make sure you have a Price Plus® Card. If you do not, please get one at any Shop Rite Customer Service Counter or online at www.shoprite.com.
